"This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another." (1Jn 4:2-3).

23/3/2024 was such a blessing day when the SPC Sisters and the youth gathered together to prepare for the Holy Week by reflecting on the Journey of Jesus to his Cross and experiencing the glory of His Resurrection. The activities of "Following the footsteps of Jesus" lead them through the ministry life of Jesus with miracles, His institution of the Eucharist, His suffering on the cross and the Resurrection. The Sisters and the youth had a great silent time to meditate on the love of the Lamb who took away their sins by dying on the cross. They could experience the Hope and the Joy of the Resurrection after the Cross. The Easter Retreat was also a wonderful chance for the Sisters and the youth to encounter and share their experiences in group sharing and games. Moreover, the spiritual input of Rev. Nev Yun inspired the youth about a practical way of living Lent and opened a new horizon of being new Easter People. The Easter Retreat was ended in prayerful Mass Celebration and Adoration to reflect on the day.
